Callaway's Rogue Driver Promises Jailbreak Distance

Callaway Rogue Driver

Callaway took its revolutionary technologies and supercharged them to create the Rogue driver which combines all they know about boosting ball speed. With a new MOI-enhancing shape, the Rogue driver delivers extraordinary forgiveness.

Callaway enhanced their Jailbreak Technology by integrating hourglass-shaped titanium bars, making the Rogue 25 percent lighter without limiting its ability to minimize crown and sole deflection at impact. This allows for a thinner face and better energy transfer to the ball, all to produce faster ball speed.

Rogue Driver Jailbreak Technology

An enhanced X-Face architecture thickens and thins strategic areas of the face to deliver higher ball speeds on off-center contact, providing longer overall distance.

Rogue’s more forgiving 460cc shape boasts a larger address footprint than Epic, encouraging golfers to relax, cut loose and make a smooth, yet fast swing. The driver utilizes carbon composite materials to enhance performance.

Triaxial carbon composite is an extraordinarily light and strong material. It saves substantial weight that is redistributed into the head’s perimeter for increased stability on contact while providing a higher MOI and improved forgiveness.

This helps preserve distance and direction on off-center hits. Rogue has the largest triaxial carbon crown of all Callaway drivers. A  stiffer body allows the face to take on more impact-load, which also promotes faster ball speeds.

Boeing and Callaway collaborated to develop the Speed Step technology used in past Callaway metalwoods. In Rogue, they worked together to redefine the geometry of the leading edge, in order to improve airflow which promotes faster clubhead speed.
