Same great performance with a new look: the Black Satin CBX 2 wedge from Cleveland Golf is adding some flair to the cavity back wedge space.

The performance story hasn’t changed: classic wedge blades are crafted for precision, but they don’t work for most players — ipso facto, the Cleveland CBX 2 was born. It’s a cavity back wedge for golfers who play cavity back irons (roughly 85% of us). And now the performance comes wrapped in a sleek new Black Satin PVD finish that reduces glare and looks sharp in anyone’s bag.
The CBX 2’s familiar forgiveness comes from a combination of design elements: a lighter hosel, a tapered flange, a wider toe, and a hollow-cavity design shift the center of gravity, placing it right where you strike the ball on most shots. That methodology means you’re striking the sweet spot more often, too.

The face features a combination of Tour Zip Grooves, Laser Milling, and Rotex Milling to maximize friction and boost spin for green-shredding stopping power.
The CBX 2’s Dynamic Sole means choosing your sole grind is as easy as ever — as you move through the loft offerings, the sole grinds shift to suit scenarios you’re most likely to encounter. Higher lofts feature a V-shaped sole for easy turf interaction, the middle lofts are S-shaped to make bunker escapes easy as possible, and the high lofts are C-shaped for open-face lob shots. Simply select your loft and the grind takes care of itself.
The new Cleveland CBX 2 Black Satin is available now at Club Champion, alongside other Cleveland options.
